Get your Leith Chooses application together THIS MONTH!

Please get your application in to Leith Chooses as soon as possible. The window for applications closes in early October….

 

If you need more information, or help or advice with your application, we have an arranged support session online, via Microsoft Teams (but you don’t need a Microsoft/Teams account to use them, just a browser and an internet connection).

If this doesn’t suit you, please just get in touch directly by email and/or arrange an individual meeting locally or a 1:1 online session. We really want to help you to get your applicationsorted, and submitted in good time!

Please don’t leave everything until the last minute…..

Timelines for Leith Chooses 2026-2027 – get these dates in your diary!

Leith Chooses is getting into gear for the next round of community grant funding! Here is a brief outline of the timescales involved:

Applications open – 10 August 2026. Application forms will be available online

Online Information / Advice / Support Sessions for potential applicants:
30 July 10:00 – 11:00
17 August 14:30-15:30
30 September 17:30-18:30
Register for any of these online sessions here

Face to face and personal Information/Advice/Support Sessions for potential applicants:
Face to face drop-in sessions have been arranged (so far) for –

  • 24 August , 17:30, Leith Community Centre
  • 7 September, 17:30, Broughton St. Mary’s Church (Bellevue Room)

More sessions may be arranged, if needed.

You can also get in touch directly by email and/or arrange an individual meeting locally or a 1:1 online session.

Deadline for Applications / Applications close –  12 October 2026

In Person Voting Day  – 23 January 2027

Online Voting period – 26 January – 9 February 2027

Results / Awards Night  – 18 February 2027

Getting ready for £eith Chooses 2026-2027…

There will be community grant fund monies available next year for new community projects in Leith – overall, about the same amount as last year. (Each applicant can apply for up to £5,000.)

We will be opening the application process in August 2026 (er, that’s quite SOON…), and the voting will be in January 2027.
